Noble Absolute du DNA might just be the next young herdsire that our breeding program is waiting on!

When it comes to this young male, it was evident at birth that this combination created something truly special! The level of brightness combined with the degree of density and organisation is not something we see on just *any* crias…
He is one of the few young males that we have chosen to retain, as we wait to see if he continues to progress as he should… if (and only if) he does, he will earn a place in our herdsire row come Summer 2026. Big plans for such a young male, we know... So far, he reflects exactly what we want to see in a future herdsire at this point in his development: genetics, fleece, conformation and temperament.

At least on paper, crossing his dam, our superb white Reserve Champion Miss Auceanie du DNA, to our 3x Supreme Champion & Alpaca Canada Fleece of the Year herdsire A Wanted Man’s Zephyr, seemed to be a rather interesting combination. Both are known here for producing some of our heaviest-cutting fleeces which maintain a flashy, uniform fleece style across their entire frame. Should we also mention their many other complementary strengths, as if these puzzle pieces were meant to fit together!
Nearly two decades of breeding alpacas has taught us that the resulting offspring from those theoretical pairings don’t always live up to the hype — but we certainly can’t contain our excitement when they do. And in this case, Absolute certainly does!

The quantity of fleece Absolute carries is quite impressive. The way he holds his crimp structure with barely any variations from shoulder to hip, topline to belly, and all the way down to his knees and up to his neck is simply amazing! This consistency is also expressed in a low SD of 3.3.
Conformationally, Absolute is a carbon copy to his maternal grandsire, Averegan’s Magnus. He carries himself on a very strong and large frame, with a pleasing headstyle and correct proportions.

His lineage is packed with powerhouse genetics! While the presence of Xanadu P Resolute (Maple Brook Barnabus) and Jeremiah’s Peruvian Jumanji (Majestic Peruvian Jeremiah) is notable, it is worth mentioning that the rest of his pedigree isn’t as common in the North American herd…
Absolute ranks as our #1 potential replacement in our program of his grandsire, the all mighty Averegan’s Magnus.
While the presence of many other Magnus descendants in our herd - and the fact that his sire is just beginning his own career - will somewhat limit his in-house use, Absolute will be introduced to a select group of unrelated females during the 2026 breeding season.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Absolute on February 6th, 2026. Due to a sudden bladder rupture caused by a blockage, we sadly had to let him go. Rest easy, sweet boy…
