Description

Whoa, Ripley is the result of 5 intensive years studying, trial & error breeding for striped patterning in alpacas. We have a small breeding group of striped alpacas that we either have purchased over the years or have been born here as a result of our breeding research. Ripley was the 1st striped cria born on our farm and he does not disappoint. His entire body on both sides is striped nearly identically to his Dam, Ripple, although not as loudly expressed as her striping pattern. The striping on Ripley even extends around his head and down his face. Ripley has very dense, long stapled fiber with beautifully organized crimp structure. He is well grown and conformationally correct. Just an all around striking patterned male with good quality fiber.

If you are interested in breeding for unique patterns, this is your guy. While Ripley is NOT for sale, we are offering outside breedings to him, and he will be a suggested unrelated service sire to our striped female offerings. Contact us to learn more about our striped pattern breeding program!
