Description

Crossing Miss Aloha Sunshine du DNA with A Wanted Man’s Zephyr has been a huge success! Named in honour of her maternal granddam, Miss Appyness du DNA is a phenotypical replica of her dam.

Appyness is a beautiful young female. She has a beautiful head, standing proud with a solid conformation. What I love the most on this girl is her fleece.
The alpacas produced from this maternal line are typically “late bloomers” with organisation in their fleeces that only appears late spring or on their 2nd fleece regrowth (see dam & granddam and their progeny). To see Appyness’ fleece with this level of organisation at a young age was a welcome surprise, and a testament that the generational improvement we strive for pays off. She has a very clean blanket with high degree of density, character and brightness. Just as expected, her fleece regrowth as a yearling is even better!

On her maternal side, Appyness descend from a long line of farm favourites for their friendly and easy-going personalities. Her dam, Aloha Sunshine, is an Averegan’s Magnus daughter & ARA Chananza granddaughter, one of our most successful genetic combinations.
