    KBAR'S Jupiter

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, Medium Silver Grey
    ARI# 35453574 | DOB: 7/29/2018
Jupiter has been one of our top grey producing males. As of August 2025 13 out of 20 of his crias were greys, only 6 of those dams were grey! He is even on 10 of each sex.

We are glad we didn't give up on Jupiter at the beginning as his first cria was a dark brown male, Buffalo, the dam was our grey girl Serenity.

Second cria was a great surprise, he bred brown Tiny Treasure, (whose mom usually only produced various shade of brown) and they criated the gorgeous Mercury.

Huacaya, Female, Proven, Dark Silver Grey
    ARI# 35029427, CLAA# 49414 | DOB: 7/29/2016
Serenity has super fine fiber. The 2025 EPDs have her ranked top 5% 980 of 56478 for fineness (AFD), Top 10% 4706 of 56478 for uniformity (SD) and Top 5% 628 of 56478 for comfort factor (%F>30). If you're looking to add fineness to your herd this girl will do that for you.

Serenity is the daughter of our top grey producing female, Sarasota who is a medium fawn. Sarasota has criated 12 crias and 10 of them have been greys! Every male who bred her was also grey. Sarasota had her final cria,...

    Description

Arche presents an excellent genetic opportunity, despite producing a light fawn fleece rather than the grey we initially anticipated. He is the result of two of our top grey breeding alpacas. His dam, Serenity, is a beautiful steel grey female with exceptionally fine fibre; her EPD ranks in the top 5% across five categories, including AFD. Arche’s sire, Jupiter, is a well-conformed medium silver grey male with EPD rankings in the top 15% for Mean Staple Length (MSL) and Fleece Weight (FW).

Arche’s fibre exhibits attractive crimp, brightness, and fineness, and he carries strong grey genetics with a solid likelihood of passing those traits on when bred appropriately. He displays correct conformation and has a calm, manageable temperament, making him suitable for a variety of breeding programs.

Genetic Potential: For more than 11 years, all of our breeding males—except one—have been grey. As a result, every alpaca we offer for sale carries genetics capable of producing grey crias when paired with a grey mate.

Arche will be ready to begin his breeding career in Spring 2026
