He has a mostly solid dark rose grey blanket, a light underbelly and various shades of fawn, with a little white, on his legs! His head and neck are showing various shades of grey. Tiramisu is a lovely multi-colored female out of one of our favorite males...Pucara Hanapepe..a Kahuna son!! The quality of his offspring is impressive, and this genetic line was a good foundation for us. Now that Hanapepe has passed on, we want to keep his legacy going.

We decided to do an experiment into multi-colors with this year's breeding, so Tira was bred to BIR's Red Pine. He is a gorgeous multi-colored grey and fawn boy. He has an impressive pedigree himself, sired by multi-champion Midknight Rider, and we are excited to see the results of this breeding next summer!

We had a two-fer today...2 crias born.. and both are GIRLS! I am soooo happy! We had chosen a multi-colored sire to pair with Tiramisu and SURPRISE...a blinding white cria!!!

Tira boasts a fantastic pedigree with Hanapepe as her sire and this little one looks like she is taking after that side of the family tree with her coloring!! I was so surprised to get NO SPOTS AT ALL!! She is a gorgeous little girl, very healthy, and since I absolutely LOVE the Hanapepe offspring...I will take that any day!!

Description

Here is Red Pine's second cria born this year! She is a blinding white girl from two multi/appy parents...THAT was a SHOCKER!!

This beautiful girl definitely has the influence of her dam's sire, Hanapepe, coming through. She has LOTS of very soft, silky fleece, with good luster, and the beginnings of some nice lock structure. She is a tall, leggy girl, and her conformation is spot-on!

Rita needed a little help to be born, but she didn't show it for a minute! She is very vigorous and independent (just like her sister, Miss FIA.) Tiramisu is a first-time momma at 13 years old and she is doing such a good job taking care of her little one. They are so sweet together! We decided on an Italian themed dessert name..after Tiramisu, and since she was born on my friend Rita's birthday... we had a good fit!

We can't wait to see what is in store for Rita... She has the potential for something special!!
