    Jet Blues fleece is highly organized fleece and he has a handsome phenotype. Some consider him a "Next-gen black"! Color genotype testing for Jet Blue indicates he carries MC1R EE and his ASIP is a1a2. No dilution was evident and both of his alleles are black. It will be very unlikely that he would produce light offspring and all offspring should cover black. We are excited to have this information to assist in our breeding decisions. Jet Blue's lineage includes; Autumnsun's Black Maelstrom (closed to outside breedings), Granite Bay Blue XX, Wolf Den's Dark Secret, Fossil Ridge's Special K, Neversummer's US Steel, GB Brooke, Snowmass Nova's Dark Quest, Wolf Den O'Baby, Fossil Ridge's Rumaki, Fossil Ridge's Bit-O-Honey, Aussie .38 Special, Crescent Moon's Starbright, Bisturi, Dahl's Chishi, Snowmass Nova, Othello, PPPeruvian Royal Fawn, Victor's Hemiaccoyo Casanova, Aussie Harmony Rose, Crescent Moon's Rayo Del Sol, FRA Smoky The Bandit, KO's Peach Girl, Dahl's Hatun Chrui, and Dahl's Yana Killa Ushi. His offspring are predominantly black and female so far. What we find is that they are conformationally sound with correct bites. Their phenotype is exceptionally pleasing with full face coverage. The bone structure is large and straight on a compact square frame. The fleece is dense with complete coverage. It carries great density and uniformity of micron, color, and crimp. We co-own this amazing male with Granite Bay Alpacas and SkyFiber Ranch. Jet is open for breedings to our clients.

Both of these alpacas have spot-on confirmation, complete coverage, perfect bite, gorgeous phenotype and incredible fleece.

    Copenhagen is a stunning dark brown with black points male out of Jet Blue and Velvetina. This male is robust, square, straight, completely covered with bright fine consistent fleece, and handsome.
