We are proud to present Jesse James! He is big boned, stretchy suri, with PERFECT CONFORMATION and luster from head to toe. He has won Reserve Champion or 1st Place in the show ring and fleece shows from 1999-2003. He sired the Reserve Champion at the GWAS 2003 (Maximum Reflection)in Denver which had over 900 participants. Maxi was purchased by Suri Peak Alpacas. He has winning genetics! Jesse comes from arguably, the best suri breeding program in N. America, Super Suris, owned by Dr. Dick and Nancy Walker.
2P Miquel was one of the best imports to come to N. America and unfortunately he is now deceased. So we must carry on these special bloodlines through his sons and daughters. What wonderful Pperuvian genetics combined with the best Bolivian bloodlines. You can't beat what some of these early, foundation males brought to the N. American suri herd. At the age of 15, Jesse James has retained his fiber characteristics and is ready to go to work for us.
Jesse is a 1/2 sister to our Carra Mia who ranks Number 1 in the ARI EPD Data base for 3 out of five areas and number 2 in the other. Carra Mia is a daughter of Miquel and had 22 micron fiber at the age of 10. We will be doing a line breeding with Jesse James in an effort to obtain and fix these characteristics in the next generations to come.
