The apple does not fall far from the tree. Ironstone is everything we hoped for. He looks like he was sculpted his fleece is so uniform. Well built male, soft spongy tight bundles of matchstick fleece. Your hand disappears like a sponge when you get your hands on him.
Champion dam and Champion Sire so we are hoping he follows suit.
We are so excited to get our 2nd Place Ribbon back from the AOA IFA National Fleece show. Grade 1 and the judge Amanda Vandenbauch stated:
" Excellent solidity to staple, Bright healthy and well nourished fleece. Aligned even - well done!!!!" Carrying and average of 19.9 histogram.His fleece now travels to 3 more alpaca shows for 2025. Ironstone received his Advanced Fleece Award at the 2025 Calpaca Autumn Fleece Extravaganza!
