What builds an OUTSTANDING ALPACA?

A truly exquisite Suri, Ssilken's Idina is outstanding in every way. SSilken's Idina is a stunning Suri alpaca with exceptional fiber and conformation. Like all alpacas, her physical traits are a direct result of her impressive lineage, and sound breeding practice. Idina herself, showed only twice in the white category which can be one of the toughest to win, especially at that time. She won hands down! Fiber, fiber, and loads of fiber, Idina has amazing fiber! Just look at the fiber characteristics of her heritage! Look for the sound confirmation through the Show Ring records of her forebearers that showed. Just like any living creature, alpacas receive their genetics from their parents.

Her sire Chakotah's Wyuna himself displayed an elite fleece characterized by fineness, luster, density, and a "silky soft handle." His impressive physique and confident presence further emphasized his genetic superiority. His linage includes Bruxo and Augustina known for Wyuna's superior fiber traits. Pucara Kahuna, a leading white Herdsire in the US, known for consistently winning Get of Sire classes and Futurity Herdsire awards, appears on both sides of Wyuna's pedigree. Uribe is another influential ancestor in his lineage. And Pucara Allegro, a dominant herdsire in Australia, with 39 championship progeny of which 17 went on to win Supreme Championship!

On her dam’s side, is Oksana of PVA, hailing from the infamous Park View Alpacas program. Her sire, Kobe of PVA sold for $195,000! His genetics carry amazing ancestry such as PVA Mahogany Prince, PPERUVIAN GANADOR and PPERUVIAN FUEGO.
