I could talk about this gorgeous boy forever! Blackbeard has a simply gorgeous head, an incredibly fine, dense fleece with amazing architecture, and talk about coverage everywhere, Wow! Add all that to a male with huge bone and a strong frame and you have yourself a truly unique true black herdsire. He also has a gentle personality as he is extremely easy to handle and work with even since he has been breeding. Blackbeard is passing on these traits to his offspring in a very consistent manner when paired with any female so far. A good friend referred to him as an "Impact Male" due to him putting his stamp on all of his cria.

Blackbeard's offspring are on the ground, hitting the shows and collecting banners across the country! Check out some of his amazing offspring on my site and add some of his a babies to your herd. Description

Buck Brook's Nina is a Champion in the show ring. She is a statuesque, striking female. Her fleece has amazing brightness, uniformity, fineness and staple length.

She is genotyped to produce dark, so in 2024, we chose to breed her to multi-champion, Crescent Moon's Kemmaus, who is also genotyped to produce dark. Kemmaus is an absolutely gorgeous unique rose grey!

On 6/15/25, Nina delivered her first cria! A 17 lb. very healthy and active male. He has a extremely bright, soft and dense fleece. His color is so pretty. It is a beautiful dark brown, with black tips on muzzle and legs. The fleece is consistent in color and characteristics across his whole body. Sure looks like he'll be one that will be heading to the show ring.
