This is a very special guy for us - the last male out of our beloved 4Peruvian White Knight - and he did not disappoint. At three years of age, he showed density of 65.76 follicles per sq mm, an S/P average of 11.8, and a micron spread of only 4.2! At 3 years of age, his AFD was 22.5, and he has retained a lustrous wave to twist lock throughout his years on the farm. His 2026 EPD rankings put him in the top 2% for AFD and the top 1% for SD.

She had the famous Silken Gold on both sides of her lineage (out of White Knight) and we knew she would add value to our herd when Weather'd T Ranch exited the industry. Yuri is out of Pucara's Hanapepe and a female of ours - Blanca Rose - who gave us a number of lovely offspring, including Axl Rose. Yuri has that great wave to twist lock style with loads of luster. He scored 17.5 out of 20 in the 2022 Suri Network All Suri Fleece show! He's well conformed and has great substance of bone. We started him on some of our best girls in 2025 and look forward to what may come!

Description

Lydia is a lovely girl out of our herdsire Shining Armor. She is white with flecks of medium fawn throughout her fleece. She has dark pigmentation and nails so we expect she can produce color. She had a nice boy in 2025 and we have her bred to an up and coming herdsire of ours - Salt River's Yuraq ("Yuri") for a summer 2026 delivery. Lydia has been a great milker and an attentive dam to her first cria. Her fiber stats are impressive and she did well in the shows:

Lydia scored 18/20 for luster in the 2022 All Suri Fleece Show and garnered a 1st place and Best Bred and Owned in the Multcolor division. The judges comments were "High marks across the card. Very organized lock and brilliant luster."!
