Vontae's sire is our own Whistling Pines Ring of Fire, a 2-time banner winner with top 3% EPD's in 3 traits and top 6% in one other, and his 4 offspring to date have earned 11 banners, 15 blues, and 8 "best" awards. His dam is our stud female, Liza Jane, who is top 10% EPS's for 2 traits, and top 13% in 4 other, and her 3 offspring to date have earned 11 banners, 23 blue ribbons and 6 "best" awards. Vontae himself accounts for 7 banners, 11 blue ribbons, and 5 "best" awards. We have entered his shorn fleeces in several shows where he has received 4 AOA Advanced Fleece awards (scores of 80, 84, 84.5, & 84.5).
On the sire's side of the pedigree we have the paternal grandsire in Crown Prince (Accoyo Crown Royale), a 5-time banner winner with 15 get-of-sire wins to his credit. On the dam's side we find the maternal grandsire in Peruvian Jeremiah (Accoyo Kalvin), with 2 Judge's Choice awards, 5 banners, and 2 get-of-sire wins; combined with Liza Jane's maternal great-grandsire Accoyo Lafite's Mont Blanc, who adds 3 Judge's Choice awards, 7 banners, 7 get-of-sire wins, and still ranks top 1% EPD's in 2 traits plus top 3% in 4 others.

Most importantly is the scientific data that validates Vontae's value. His 2023 biopsy data at 34 months of age exceeded our expectations in a big way. He currently sits as the SECOND DENSEST MALE ALPACA (Suri OR huacaya!) ever tested by Alpaca Consulting USA.

In 2023, Vontae was awarded the inaugural Triple Crown award from the Suri Network, representing the highest combined score of AOA's IFA show, the Suri Network fleece show, and the Suri Network spin off.
Vontae's first cria have hit the ground in 2023 and they look great. All are exhibiting heavy, lustrous, fine fleeces with great handle and uniformity, and layers of the coveted wave-to-twist lock style, on rock solid frames.
