Description

Bacardi is a striking grey male who has solid conformation, beautiful fleece, and the drive to become a future herdsire. His fleece is fine, dense, and lengthy with high frequency and low amplitude character. He is also a very easy keeper and maintains his weight perfectly! His MC1R + ASIP genotype is Ee aa and his Grey/Non-Grey status is classic grey, making him a perfect addition to grey and/or dark breeding programs. We are hoping to get him in the breeding pen to prove his herdsire abilities this spring!

Bacardi's sire, SA Peruvian Blue Laser, was the 2022 Small Farm Reserve Herdsire of the Year and has sired multiple color champions and his dam, CCAP Rumm Runner, was an AOA National Halter winner!

We have decided to offer Bacardi for sale purely due to the fact that we want to focus more emphasis on our patterned breeding program, but we will continue to utilize him in our grey program until he is purchased.
