    Pandora is a farm favorite breeding dam who has exceptional genetics, phenotype, and personality to boot. She was the farm's very first cria in 2015, as well as our first blue ribbon in the show ring. For sentimental reasons, I will never offer Pandora for sale. My dream is to continue to build on her foundation through carefully selected breedings in her final breeding years. Additionally, her daughter Duchess will be joining our breeding program in 2027 once she is fully developed.

    Description

    Duchess is a gorgeous DARK brown female from another PPandora's Box and E Pluribus Unum ("Money") pairing. She is the full sister to our herdsire (breedings open now), Captain Phinneus, and this line has shown their high quality phenotype and genetics at the national level.

    At the Railsplitter and IAFF shows in 2026, Duchess got reclassified to brown. She placed 2nd in Small Breeder and 3rd in a tough Brown Yearling Female class. She also got 2nd in Walking Fleece! At the AOA National Show, she received a 2nd Place ribbon in a competitive Brown Yearling Female Small Breeder class with another E Pluribus Unum daughter and Ironhide animal that went on to win a Reserve Champion in the Walking Fleece for Brown Female Yearlings. In the Walking Fleece, Duchess received a 6th Place. Judges consistently commented on her excellent degree of fineness, brightness, and uniformity of length. She underperformed in color consistency, which was not surprising to me since she reclassified as brown this year.

    In her April 2026 shearing, I have been impressed with her ability to produce a quality blanket. I love the gorgeous dark brown fleece she has created this year, and am excited to have her join our breeding program! Despite her color inconsistency underperforming in shows, I am actually excited at breeding possibilities because I don't think she's done developing. Despite hitting 2 years old in June 2026, I don't have plans to breed her until 2027 due to her smaller frame. That being said, E Pluribus Unum's dam "Graysea" is a Dark Rose Gray, and Money produced a few grays. With Duchess still developing into her own, I'm interested to see how her color transforms. I'm certainly excited at the possibilities of color with her added to my breeding herd in the near future. As a breeding dam, I will look to breed her to a herdsire that passes on more density, organization, and staple length to her offspring's fleece.
