    Description

    Crystal Rhinestone stems from one of the most potent female lines at the very base of our foundation herd. Her lineage traces back to her great-granddam, Micay, who arrived in the United States on one of the final importations from Peru. Micay was an absolute legend, passing away on our farm at 23 years old while remarkably still sporting a 22-micron fleece. Micay’s daughter, Stella, produced exceptionally top-quality offspring—all of which were highly sought after and sold, except for one prized female we retained for our own program: Crystal Royal Golds Pearl. Pearl enjoyed a highly successful show career and has proven to be a phenomenal producer and mother, consistently giving us near-perfect animals. Most notably, Pearl produced our prominent herdsire, Crystal Maverik, who already has impressive offspring on the ground. Following in her family's footsteps, Rhinestone excelled on the show circuit, consistently placing at the top of her classes against stiff competition of usually 12 or more animals. She carries a very long-stapled fleece with beautifully consistent crimp architecture from front to back and skin to tip. What makes her the "total package" is her ability to maintain incredible fineness alongside impressive density. For her maiden breeding, we have paired her with an exceptional outside male, Alpaca Palaces Zumbas Zumination. We are absolutely thrilled to see what this powerhouse duo produces in the spring of 2027!
