Award Winning Nova Daughter!

Moonacre Papa Don't Preach

Huacaya, Female, Proven | True Black

AOA# 30964396   D.O.B. 8/8/2008 (17 yrs) , 5/8 Peruvian, 3/8 Chilean

Sire:
Snowmass Nova
| AOA# 815614  | TB

Dam:
CB Bebe Nina
| AOA# 821707  | True Black
Bebe is the one of those foundation dams that you dream of owning. Her production record in terms of quality is amazing. Dam of Herdsire extraordinaire and Multiple Black Color Champion, NA Lord Forrester, Bebe produces gorgeous black offspring. Bred to MFI Peruvian Black Mesquite she gave birth to CB Delissa and NA Lady Nina Mesquite both Color Champions in black. It is our experience that the "El Negro" bloodline nicks especially well with Snowmass Nova and Matador bloodlines. Our finest, brightest, showiest black fleeces are a combination of all three. 6/29/10 Bebe gave birth to a gorgeous inky-blue True Black boy! We're calling him "Absolute Dark Matter" Matt for short, but his name should be "Absolutely No Worries" because that's how he came into this world. Born 5:30 am, he was up, nursing, pooping and peeing within 30 minutes. He weighed in at 19.1 lbs and his IgG 2813. See, No Worries. 6/24/11 Bebe birthed another stellar boy sired by Moonacre Montano (Nova, Quetzal, Matador lines)! 17.4 lbs bright and healthy, Walker is the first non-black cria for Bebe. He looks Dark Brown/Bay Black for now and just like Dark Matter his fleece is crimpy and greasy. 5/43/13 It's a girl! Dark fawn/light brown, the lightest cria Bebe has given us but probably the best also. Stunning and spunky, Serafina is spectacular!
Service Sire:
A Paca Fun's Silver Triumph

A Silver Legend of KPR son!

A Paca Fun's Silver Triumph

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, Medium Silver Grey
ARI# 32284904 | DOB: 5/15/2011
From arguably the most consistent gray/black breeding program in the United States comes our latest secret weapon. Considered a "Total Package" Silver Legend son by the folks who bred him, Ty Ty experienced an injury to his jaw as a juvenile that took him out of the running for the show ring and right straight into our pasture.

Blessed with a solid square conformation, uniformly fine, uniformly gray and uniformly crimpy fleece that is the calling card of his sire, Ty Ty has a noble head and ...

Description

"Cause I'm keeping my baby!"

Ever played the "Dream Breeding" game? It's kind of like Fantasy Football but with alpacas. Here's how it goes: If you could breed ANY male alpaca, alive or deceased to ANY female alpaca who would you breed to whom and why? Well last year I was fortunate enough to be able to actually do a breeding that I'd dream't of, CB Bebe Nina to Snowmass Nova and it worked out exactly the way a dream breeding should. We got precisely what we were looking for and a whole lot more.

Poppy's birth was a breeze, I looked out at the girls porch at 7am and there was nothing going on. I looked out at the girls porch at 8am and there was a brand new little black girl walking around looking for the milk bar. Poppy weighed in at 19.5lbs IgG of 2200, all the basics in place. She is straight as an arrow, beautifully proportioned and has an excellent bite. In the fleece department she's sporting an incredibly bright, fine, inky blue black fleece (just the way we like it) filled with solid curls, popcorn if I may. All I can say is WOW! She's gorgeous!

Poppy has been lounging around for the past couple of years because, quite simply, we had no room for more animals. Now with the move to Huntington and the huge pastures and barn we have room to add some animals. So Poppy was bred, she took the first time and we are anxiously awaiting this Ty Ty cria!
