To quote our friend Ian Lutz,

"What can be said about Nova other than the fact that there just aren't that many black alpacas that even approach what he represents. His fineness and density put the vast majority of white animals to shame. A true elite black Herdsire".

It's true, this guy carries white quality fiber in black. He has the best density of any black animal I've ever put my hands on. And his conformation is perfect.

Now a bit about Nova's progeny; as of 10/27/06, Nova has 90 registered offspring. Of these 90, at least 31 have placed at shows nationwide (these statistics are far from comprehensive). Of these 31 ribbon winners, 18 have at least 1 blue ribbon. Those are pretty good odds! Of Nova'

Description

Blackberry's second daughter Moonacre Midnight Mischief has her dam's non-fading, inky blue-black coloring and her sire's silky handle, fineness and brightness. Her fleece exhibits a reasonably well-defined medium frequency, low amplitude crimp along a lengthy staple. She has excellent, square, proportionate conformation, straight legs, ample bone, excellent coverage and a correct bite. Where she got that mischievous nature I have no idea.

Mischief gave birth to medium fawn male with character and density for days! Sired by our own CCNF Royal Odin and born on the Fourth of July at a respectable 17.9 lbs and an IgG of 3000, Sam is as vigorous as he is handsome.

Financing Terms

Purchase of Mischief may be financed for 48 months with 25% down, balance to paid quarterly at prime+1%. Purchase price includes an additional breeding to any of Moonacre Farm's unrestricted herdsires that may be used at the purchaser's discretion. Subject to Moonacre Farms breeding requirements.
