    Zephyrus / Molson cross...what Fleece!

    ZU Peruvian Molson started the 2008 show season with a “Blue Ribbon” in the halter class (1st out of 10) and a 2nd place ribbon in the fleece class at the CABO show in NC. Judge Tim Lavan commented on Molson’s fineness (15.5 Micron), consistency of his fleece and his over all conformation placing him above the others in his class.

    Molson’s second show of 2008, the VA Classic, he picked up where his first show left off by winning another “Blue Ribbon” (1st out of 8) and the “Reserve Color Champion”. Judge Kevin O’Leary commented on Molson’s very fine dense fleece and stated he was looking for the dirt line in the fleece, but that Molson was so dense, the dirt couldn’t get down into the fleece.

    As a Juvenile in only his second show Molson was awarded his first Blue Ribbon (1st out of 9) and Reserve Champion. Judge Diana Timmerman commented that she seldom awards juveniles a championship, but in this case he (Molson) had the overall qualities it takes, deserving the award.

    TBA Zephyrus's Peruvian Zahara Rose is a Spectacular, True Black, daughter of 10x Champion Peruvian Zephyrus. Her Dam is the super fine fleeced True Black, Shiraz Noir, a Camelot daughter. Her crimp is consistent from Top Knot throughout her Blanket!

    Like her Sire, her bone density and coverage are what the judges are looking for. Like her Dam, her fleece is consistent, fine, and crimp throughout her staple length. Please check out her Histogram! For a black - it is outstanding!
    Her Sire Peruvian Zephryus has produced multiple champions and is NOT available for outside breedings.

    Description

    Meet Tiger (may he have as many girlfriends) this beautiful guy has a strong genetic trail behind him. Sire is a Multi-Champion with outstanding fleece characteristics for a white and he is BROWN!

    His Dam is the daughter of one of the strongest Royal Fawn off springs in the country (Peruvian Zephyrus)...and she is Black!

    Zahara threw a TB boy in 2010 that touted an 18 AFD and is stunning (sold)...and tiger is right behind him.

    I would guess that when we test his fleece in May of 2011 it will be a sub 18 AFD! He has a great head, spectacular fineness in his fleece with a strong character of high frequency crimp and moderate amplitude. He stands as if he owns the place and his coloring makes him a stand out in the fields.
