Full Peruvian
Alberta Clipper comes from all Peruvian-Australian roots by way of Canada. He is co-owned with Cas Cad Nac Farm and was imported into the U.S. through their friends, the Buhrmann's, owners of Mountain Meadows Ranch in Pincher Creek, AB. This super typey male comes from bloodlines you simply do not often find, with his entire lineage originating in the Peruvian herds of Australia's famous Jolimont Alpaca Stud. He is available for breeding either at Barron Hill or Cas Cad Nac farm. By the time Clipper entered the show ring in the fall of 2003, he had developed to such an extent that the judges were singling him out of the large white classes as soon as they looked at him. Ian Lutz "was continually reminded of a young Super Nova" as he watched this young male develop and receive awards at every show he entered. Clipper continues to win classes competing against some of the elite males in the country and, most recently, took 2nd Place in the mature male class at the 2008 North American.
