Saggio of Bolivia AON

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, White, Full Bolivian
ARI# 1234442 | DOB: 6/18/2004
Saggio is a full Bolivian male out of Silas of Bolivia, who is now gone. Saggio's fleece is extremely dense and crimpy. It has lost a little staple length wih age, but that's common with a male being used all the time. His offspring have shown the same fiber with fineness to boot. He has a very gentle disposition and has also passed this on to his cria. There aren't too many full Bolivians left out there, so at $500 stud fee, you can't go wrong. Description

Poppy is a great true black girl out of Sierra and Saggio. She has her mom's conformation and her dad's fleece. She is showing really nice crimpy, fine fleece. I will have her fiber tested at shearing time. She will also be shown this summer along with her fleece. During shearing, we discovered that her brisket, between her front legs, was off center a little. The shearer said it "could" be genetic, but would probably not affect her offspring. I asked a geneticist about it and he wasn't familiar with this defect. Becasue of this, her price is lowered to $500. The only reason she is for sale is to make room for more cria. Both parents are blue ribbon winners and hopefully Poppy will follow in their foot steps.
(Her micron was 21 with only 3.7% of fibers over 30) Makes for very comfortable products.
