MATIAS won BLUE in HALTER at the AOBA NATIONAL CONFERENCE in 2007 in a tough Yearling Class, and then was the only one brought forward in consideration for the RESERVE AOBA CHAMPIONSHIP. The judge took several minutes in comparison.

Matias’s 1st Blue HALTER was in a competitive CLASS OF 15 at the EMPIRE EXTRAVAGANZA 2006. Judge Mike Safely said "This has to be the finest class of brown alpacas I have ever judged"

Phoenix is a son of SUGARTOWN FARM'S MATAIS AMADEO, a 5X Blue Ribbon Winner at L4-L5 Shows - including AOBA NATIONALS! Phoenix had a rough year in 2011, becoming very ill. We almost lost him, but with TLC he has held true to his name and is rising from the ashes! His fiber, which had suffered due to his illness is showing a beautiful come-back! Most likely due to his illness, Phoenix has not been able to settle any females, so we are offering him at a deep discount as a fiber male
