Vanity is an appealing young female with great presence and structure, and a very attractive, stylized head. She has a dense, crimpy fleece that is extremely bright with nice sheen. She is a healthy, "easy-keeper" whose impressive pedigree includes PPPeruvian Don Juan on her sire’s side, and MMR Orlando (Canadian Grand Champion) on her dam’s side.
Vanity is everything we hope for in an alpaca mom! She has quick and trouble-free deliveries just one day past her scheduled due date (both years). She is patient and attentive, but perfectly fine with the necessary interactions of the “two-leggers” ... in fact, she seems to welcome these interactions so she can check our hands (and pockets) to see if we’ve brought her a snack. And with a babies who gain weight like crazy, we know Vanity has plenty of milk!
In 2010, Vanity delivered her first cria – a beautiful dark fawn male with black points inherited from his jet black sire Reign of Vesuvius. Vesuvius is out of two greys including well-known herdsire Socosani, a silver grey Peruvian import. Vesuvius has soft, fine fleece with good hand, and he has passed those qualities along to his son who has gorgeous curly soft fleece!
In 2011, Vanity did it again. One day after her due date, Vanity delivered a stunning BEIGE male cria sired by MFI Peruvian Formula 1. Formula 1 is a multi-champion Jericho son with a who’s who pedigree including Dakotia, Bueno, NWA, LTD Jean, PPPeruvian Augusto, PPPeruvian Mr President. Formula 1 kids are taking the show ring by storm, and this boy is shaping up to be another Formula 1 success. Check out his page for more pics and info!
