"Peter The Great" is a full Peruvian representing both Accoyo and Allianza heritage. Peter's sire and dam were from outstanding cooperatives in Peru: Accoyo and Allianza and he was imported from Peru to Australia in utereo. In conformation, Peter presents perfect overall balance and is heavy boned. His proportions are symmetric and his top line blends perfectly forming a square box presentation while not compromising grace and elegance. He is large male in general with a perfect bite and true to type Huacaya head and perfect leg confirmation.

Francisco's first crias are on the ground, BONE, straight legs, bright fleeces! We are very pleased at the color and quality of these crias [They're winning in the ring!!] And VERY excited about the future with this stud! Here is a beautiful black male with a majestic style, solid bone, incredible head, glossy, soft, and luminous fleece. And the judges agree. He has had a fantastic show career with a competitive wins in major shows. Francisco comes from a completely colored pedigree. His dam, Peruvian Francine [deceased] was a lovely dark brown and out of dark fawn 6Peruvian the Saint. His sire, KPR of Aladdin is bay black; his famous grandsire 5Peruvian Royal Inca Legend was silver grey. With the passing of Inca Legend, these genetics are much rarer and more valued - very much so here on the West Coast where this bloodline is limited in its availability. We are thrilled at co-owing Francisco, the new places he will take our black breeding program and the possibilities he brings to black west coast genetics. If you had asked us if we would ever sell this girl we would have said NO! She is the last of our black alpacas. And she was born the day Scott and I were engaged and on my birthday! But...we aren't breeding for black so why not let another ranch use her genetics. Do you know that there are no other offspring from her herdsire the infamous Peter Tag No 1010 AKA Peter the Great, from Alpacas by the Sea that are black, but Music? Can you imagine owning a female that is what we call a "stud female" or "Hembra" meaning her genetic makeup is stamped on her cria as much as the chosen service sire does. And, she is black black black not really bay black according to the shearers who have shorn her. We have produced our finest female offspring from her El Dorado Rhapsody. Now we have bred Music to Peruvian Francisco a true black who's density is like a beautiful black carpet. We KNOW this pairing will produce black, but it will also produce big strong bone and a rocking head. And oh but the fleece should be amazing and dense. Get in on our last of our BLACK alpacas.
