This fabulous black male is very well built and exudes total self-confidence along with a very boisterous personality. He demonstrates great substance of bone, perfect bite, straight legs and topline. His well-bundled fleece exhibits good crimp as well as very good density and his fleece coverage is extraordinary! Both of his parents are multi champions. Legacy's first BLUE RIBBON came from the STAR Fleece show and his next BLUE RIBBON and first CHAMPION BANNER came from the 2008 Southern Select! Legacy's fleece won the BLUE RIBBON at the Palmetto Alpaca Classic and was the highest scoring BLACK fleece there. Now another BLUE RIBBON at the 2009 CABO fleece show! Latte is a very gentle 3/4 Peruvian girl with very soft, fine fleece. Her first cria, Jamocha, finished his first show - the Royal Alpaca Challenge - in Fourth place.
Description
Jamocha is a nice compact male with long staple length, nice crimp, and very soft, dense fleece. He has a very gentle nature and is very approachable. Yarn made from his fleece is soft and luxurious.
He is the son of multiple blue ribbon winning Peruvian Black Legacy. Jamocha earned his own 4th place ribbon in halter at the 2009 Royal Alpaca Challenge in Conyers, GA when he was only 6 months. Furthermore, in November of 2011, he received a 3rd place ribbon in halter at the Royal Alpaca Challenge.
Jamocha has begun his breeding career and his first cria (Misty) was born in April of 2013. He was bred to our sweet Noelle whose fleece is a beautiful beige color. Noelle's dad is the multiple blue ribbon winning Julius Jax who fleece is also beige.
UPDATE #1: First cria was born on April 29, 2013. Her name is Jerae's Vanilla Mist AKA Misty. She has a very sweet disposition and loves people. Her white fleece is soft and fluffy with a splash of vanilla color (like the Pure Vanilla used for cooking) on her head and legs.
UPDATE#2: His second cria was born on September 25, 2013. Her name is Jerae's Autumn Joy. She is truly a little 'Bundle of Joy' with lots of energy to run and play with Misty plus two other young females. Her fleece is a soft, curly medium brown color. She now likes to run and play with her younger brother, Toby.
UPDATE #3: Jamocha's third cria was born on October 8, 2013. His name is Jerae's Tobias AKA Toby. He was a little light weight at birth at 13 lbs 14 oz but now has caught up with his sister, Joy. He and Joy love to play together plus aggravate each other!!
