    June 28, 2015. Captain receives Black Male Color Champion and Black Male Reserve Champion at the 2015 AOA Nationals Fleece Show (with over 540 fleece entries). Wow!!!

    This show stopper is just what we were looking for. Captain Midnight's black fleece exhibits extreme density, brightness and a zipper crimp usually seen in white fleeces. Oh, did I mention it's fine too?

    Captain's sire, Black Midnight, has a highly advanced black fleece with excellent density and outstanding fleece character. Although Black Midnight did not like the show ring, he managed to obtain Multi Championship status including the 2010 Futurity. Captain's grandsire is the well known, multi-champion MFI Peruvian Jericho. Captain's genetics read like the who's who in the alpaca world and he stands proudly among them.

    Judge's comments - "uniformity and wonderful soft handle". Twix is our girl with character. Twix's dam is the daughter of Riddick, with rare bloodlines including Evander and 5Peruvian Inca's Ransom on her sire's side and PPPeruvian Mr. President on her dam's side. Twix's sire is CCNF Cosmic Warlord, a champion son to Snowmass Legacy Gold and grandson to the well known 4Peruvian Legacy. Cosmic is a multiple blue ribbon winner including AOBA Nationals. He has excellent crimp structure and density, not surprising with his elite genetic background. Twix has definitely inherited her sire's excellent traits. Twix shows high definition crimp style, brightness and soft handle. Twix produces true black when bred to black.
