Daddy's Girl

Alexi Starbella of MSK

Suri, Female, Unproven | Light Fawn

AOA# 31706681   D.O.B. 9/13/2009 (16 yrs) , 3/4 Peruvian, 1/8 Bolivian, 1/8 Chilean

Sire:
Alcoyo Storm
| AOA# 30322462  | Medium Fawn  |
Last son of CPeruvian Accoyo Abel, direct import from Accoyo with the best histogram of that last group imported with Accoyo Jackpot, Ace and Dakota. Rare solid genetics, an Accoyo herdsire who passed away unfortunately too young, after ingesting sand in the pasture during the Florida hurricane season. Abel and the others were found in the pasture on Father's Day that year, and we all learned about sand blockages, the hard way.

Alcoyo's awards:
2nd place Halter, Great Midwest Alpaca Fest-Madison-judge and I. Watt
2nd place Halter, Midwest Alpaca Jamboree-Mason City-Julio Sumar
2nd place Spin-off, Midwest Alpaca Jamboree-Mason City
3rd place Halter, Mid America Alpaca Show-Topeka-K. O'Leary

Dam:
WLK Sunburst
| AOA# 1431476  | Medium Brown  |
Sire is Microwave, true black out of Peruvian Mahogany Miss and by Fruzane Noir. Dam is Peruvian Ampara, an import with 13 cria, all show stoppers. Sunburst's full brother, WLK Excalibur, bay black, earned 7 blues before retiring to his breeding career, and now has numerous beautiful daughters. Sunburst has had 1 son and then 3 girls in a row.

Description

ALEXI is one of those cute endearing alpacas. She has the sweetest face and always is close by. She wants to know all about what is going on, and keeps me smiling. I chose to list her for sale because I know she'd make it fine on another farm. She is just so likable and fun. She loves the hose in summer and the snow in winter. She's easy going like her grandma, dad and mom here on the farm, all of them tall, large boned, sturdy and thriving. I know she'll charm her way into the hearts of her new owners just as she always has mine.

Alexi is ready to breed, so she would be mated with SBS AMARE since we breed for dark suris. She is the spitting image of her dad's mother, Almond Joy, who produces solid true black crias from Saviero
Saviero is Alexi's older brother, purchased with mom from Wilkins ranch, WLK Sunburst.

That's another really nice thing about Alexi, her unique genetics. It's hard to find a nice suri girl with no Angel, Uribe, Bruxo or MacGyver. She can be bred to almost any popular dark or light herdsire. Her rare Accoyo genetics are through direct import Accoyo Abel. Her grandmother and mother both have perfect reproductive histories. You could tell time by when their crias were due. We just rebred 19-20 days after births and they always had a cria at the same time each year. I am sure Alexi will do well as a pleasant, healthy foundation female to populate a new farmer's suri herd.

It can be a difficult adjustment for a single alpaca to blend into a new herd, and I couldn't stand for her to be shunned when she has been so happy here. Therefore, I will want to send her lovely bonded sister Maya along with Alexi as a packaged purchase, and would include any current unborn cria she is pregnant with when sold, plus a rebreeding to any herdsire I fully own when she is ready.

Financing Terms

A month board included, $5.00 per day after that. All vet costs borne by purchaser. Purchase price paid in full before transport to her new farm.
