Snowmass Royal Challenger, the 2004 Futurity Color Champion, has proven himself by producing the next generation of elite colored huacaya alpacas. Son of Snowmass Royal Rose, one of the top Studs from the North American Alpaca Stud Group, Royal Challenger hails from a long line of “greats” including Hemingway and Bueno. Challenger’s dam, PPPeruvian Edelweis is a grand dam in her own right- a long time producer of champions. Royal Challenger consistently passes on his superior phenotype and fleece attributes to his offspring - superb conformation, awesome coverage, fineness, high-frequency style crimp, long staple length and beautiful brightness. Until now, Royal Challenger’s outside breedings have been extremely limited. We will be offering a total of 3 outside breedings to Royal Challenger, exclusive to clients, for the remainder of 2008.

She is a gorgeous light brown beauty with black points, eye-catching presence, and spectacular fleece--fineness, extremely soft handle, density, consistent high-definition crimp, brightness, and well-defined lock structure. She has it all. It's no wonder she serves as the model for our logo.

    On August 1, 2009 Cinnamon Gold gave birth to her fourth cria, a female, Felicity, sired by Snowmass Royal Challanger. Felicity has very crimpy fleece.

    Cinnamon Gold is being bred back to bay black CCNF Straight, No Chaser, son of Snowmass Nova and NAAS Reserve Champion. Can't wait to see what these two produce!

    She has a very elite crimp style - the closest that we have seen to OLIVER'S! And so, we PURCHASED FELICITY TO BREED TO OLIVER.

    In Oct 2011, we had FELICITY'S fleece graded at THE CIABA FLEECE EVENT at the Green Mountain Alpaca Spectacular. FELICITY has a Grade 2 Fleece (Super Fine) with Good Brightness, in addition to being very dense.

    FELICITY carries the genetics of Hemingway, Snowmass Royal Rose, Bueno, Altiplano Gold, and her multi-time Champion dam Cinnamon Gold. Her sire Snowmass Royal Challenger, now deceased, is the 2004 Futurity Color Champion.
