SuperSuris Jamu is a true black herdsire who has proven himself in the showring and also with his offspring. He has incredible blue-black luster and well defined locks. His fiber is very dense with leg coverage down to the ground and even over his feet! This year we had his first crop of babies. Six of the seven cria are females and 4 are true black. Two are dark brown and one is medium fawn. We are getting dark brown & medium fawn out of white dams, so his dark color comes through consistently. His sire who is Bolivian Inspiration is true black and his dam is Bolivian Java, a medium fawn.

What a FABULOUS full Peruvian female suri!!! She is the complete package! Dark brown, dense, greasy, locked fiber covers this female from head to toe. Her full sister (This is Graycie!) was the 2006 grey AOBA champion (and Futurity res. champion). I had my eye on Katydid from the moment she was born and I jumped at the opportunity to purchase her!

Katy has incredibly lustrous fiber for a dark brown color, she looks wet all the time. Her first micron came back at 20.5 which you can feel in her handle. Her 2011 fiber data came back at a low 25.7 micron - not too shabby for a dark brown almost 5 year old breeding female!!! She has maintained excellent lock structure in each fleece regrowth!

Katydid has produced THREE fantastic female cria so far! Her first (This is Willoww!) took a reserve color championship (behind another black from the same farm) at her first show, demonstrating incredibly dense, true black fleece. Her 2nd cria (This is Delilah!) is a stunning, HIGHLY lustrous fawn. And her 3rd cria (Jolly Rancher's Calypso) is a VERY high luster, fine, typy, white female! Each of her offspring have come out with INCREDIBLE luster, very fine fleeces, great lock structure, and excellent coverage.

Katy is currently bred to "This is Maximus!" A full Peruvian, dense, lustrous, macho boy! He is a reserve color champion and this cross with Katydid should produce a winner!

Description

Willoww is one of those rare females that is hard to find something you don't like about her! When you first see her you will notice right away her solid bone and excellent conformation. When you get close and open up her dense fleece you will notice her unusually high degree of luster right away! This luster, combined with her ropey locks and excellent coverage earned her a reserve championship at the 2009 Alpacapalooza halter show (a level V show!)!

Willoww's first cria was a true black female, Iris! We are so impressed with Iris' combination of luster, fineness, and coverage that we repeated the breeding! Willoww is bred once again to the 6x champion, Storm Warning!

A true black female of this quality is a rare find indeed! This is your opportunity to own an amazing foundation female!
