Congratulations to Gray Alpaca Company for the recent purchase of Ka-La!


Ka-La was the high-selling alpaca at the 2010 Breeders Edge Auction and has a nice 1 year show record. She has had 3 cria with ease and is an excellent mom and mild producer. She most recently had a beautiful grey male out of Santiago Feb 2014; we liked him so much we rebred Ka-La to Santiago.

1st Place/6, "Full Fleece Bay Black Juv Male", 2010 Northeast Alpaca Expo (Level IV, Peter Kennedy). Comments: Best combination of traits - conformation and fleece. Good character to fleece / has fineness & density throughout the blanket.
1st Place/9, Class 115-3: "Bay Black Juv Male", 2010 MAPACA (Level V, Diana Timmerman). Extremely competitive class with the 2010 North American Black Male Reserve Color Champion also in 115-3. Comments: Complete package. Good growth. Sound top-line. Good consistency and architecture. Good brightness and fineness. Uniform fleece.
3rd Place/10, "Full Fleece Bay Black Juv Male", North American Alpaca Show (Level V, Amanda VandenBosch). Santiago's first show as a juvenile.
