An outstanding number of male progeny producing their OWN champions. He won and placed in his Get of Sire classes! He was the 2001 Fawn Color Champion at AOBA. He is ½ Accoyo and all Peruvian!! Monet is an older dam that has maintained her looks and fiber quality very well. She was the 1st place winner in Beige at the 2001 AOBA Nationals. Monet is known for producing high quality cria with lots of density, crimp and fineness, as well as excellent conformation. Unfortunately, she doesn't always produce color when bred to color. Having said that, she's produced two fabulous cria now when bred to gray, a black and a rose gray!

Update... We haven't used Persey as a breeder so far because we are breeding for dark colors.
Too bad too because he has great fleece and conformation!
But we have clients that want white genetics and we have a couple of girls that could also benefit from those genetics ...
So we've given him a try with great results... we'll keep you posted on how the girls take... wish us luck!

WOW! Persey's fiber is so bright, it's irridescent. That's a trait passed to him from his sire Grand Moreno. And he has the density and handle to go with it. His conformation is excellent, with good substance of bone. He's really grown up to be a solid young herdsire.

News Flash! The 2012 ARI EPDs are out. And Persey's EPDs are looking great! Fiber Weight +0.206, AFD -0.317, SD -0.192, %>30 -1.677, MSL +0.541. This means that his ability to improve your dam's fiber is very good. Give him a try at our introductory rate while it lasts.

We accept cash, check, Venmo or credit card. Financing is available on all alpaca sales. We can work with your budget. We ask for 25% down, no interest if paid in full within one year of purchase. Purchaser will provide alpaca insurance on each animal until paid in full. Breeding/Show quality maidens come with a free breeding to any Menagerie Hill Ranch owned unrestricted Herdsire. Agisting (boarding) available - 30 days included with in State purchase of breeding quality alpaca. 90 days included for out of state purchases. Purchaser assumes all Vet fees. Transport available - first 100 miles included with purchase of breeding/show quality alpaca. Package deals available.
