Sunny has been very effective as a herdsire in our breeding program. He has brought the fleece characteristics one would expect in a light fawn multi champion and he has consistantly put those charactistics into clors from fawn through black...producing banners in his offspring.

Description

Sandro is the phenotypic "clone" of his dad. He has a brilliant, high frequency crimp that is organized into microbundles that migrate down to the belly and up to the top of that Midnight Sun head.It is very uniform with no evidence of irregular primaries. Not surprising given dad's fiber stats*.

Ditto on dad's solid boxey, compact yet powerful four square frame.

We would have loved to have shown Sandro in 2012 but he had a tender fleece. He was obviously stoic after a winter weaning, and, but for the fleece
stress, showed no signs of distress...evidence we think, of a rock solid constition.

He is a very promising younster who is developing a very "macho" attitude. We can't wait to show him as a yearling.

*We have found Sandro's dad to be the perfect "utility" breeder. We have put him on blacks with the better than expected 50% black results of exceptional cria. At the same time Midnight Sun is now bringing blue ribbon juvies to the show ring in fawn, brown and light. All that at an age when many males are still waiting to settle their first female.
