Description

Mattie is a solid female out of Snowmass Matrix Quest. She has a lot of grey on her dam's side including BWL's Tambo. She also has Acero Marka's Mr Know It All on her dam's side. She has never been shown as we were in the process of moving to Alabama to Virginia. Her 2016 YM fiber sample at 4yrs old: MFD 17.8, SD 3.8, CV 21.5%, FG30 0.9%, SF 17.4, MC 43.1, SDC 25.6, CF 99.1%

She had a female cria out of Whirlpool Galaxy Feb 2014 named Cianna Snow Galaxy. Cianna is white and her skin biopsy done by Norm Evans shows: 60.27 follicles/sqmm, zero% medullation, 2/4 gland presence, secondaries 20.2, primaries 24.7 with a variation of 4.5. Her 2016 YM fiber sample: MFD 20.3, SD 3.7, CV 18%, FG30 1.2%, SF 19.3, MC 32.1, SDC 20.1, CF 98.8%. Cianna was bred to a Harlequin, Tye Dye, but unfortunately her Harlequin male cria only lived 2-3 days.

She was bred to our multi-champion Ringo Cloud and had a white male cria (Reggie) on 5-12-15. His fiber is dense and extremely crimpy. His 2016 YM fiber sample at 1yr old: MFD 16.3, SD 4.0, CV 24.9%, FG30 0.6%, SF 16.4, MC 49.0, SDC 29.6, CF 99.4%. Here is on track to be an excellent herd sire!

Mattie was bred to a beautiful Harlequin, DMC's Leopold (co-owned by Susan Rempe and Cherie Seiler; he is now deceased), and had a Appaloosa female cria (Lily) May 2016; the hope is that Lily will eventually express Leo's Appaloosa/Harlequin gene complex.
