HAWTHORNE is a stunning offspring of our full accoyo Caligula son ACCOYO AMERICA ZION and Peruvian Hannah, a Hemingway and Snowmaster granddaughter. This combination of Hannah whose first fleece had an AFD of 13.6 and has maintained her fineness, and berber dense Zion has already produced Zion's Peruvian Holly. Hawthorne shows the same ultra bright, fine fleece with tiny bundling crimp. Conformationally he is correct and will be of medium build. He already has lots of presence. Hawthorne has his father's exceptional density, but he is much finer than sister Holly who sheared 12.5lb of fiber at 2 years. Hawthorne has a beautiful head style typical of the Caligula line with a nice well formed topknot.

Hawthorne's dam has thrown pure white cria and a true black cria with NO white fibers so I would not hesitate to use him especially if you are looking to add character to colored dams! His lips are very dark and has dark eyeliner around the eyes. He is one those boys who had a nice fleece his first year but his second fleece has developed into something very special and he is maintaining it over the years. He is developing a consistent Hemingway style fleece with crimp all the way up the neck and well into the belly which is very very soft and bright. His density is deceiving as he is so fine, little medulation and excellent conformation complete the package.

Although we have never used him because his sire Zion is still breeding, we would like to maintain breedings. This is a really special male that I can't really use and I am keeping his sister Satin Bell's Jumanji son. I hope a breeder will see his value, especially since his sire, Accoyo America Zion, is recently deceased.
