Description

This little fawn beauty is covered in fleece from her topknot to her toes in yummy soft fleece. Butterscotch was named for her color and the smooth silky feel of the candy as it melts in your mouth. Her conformation is very correct and she is well-balanced with pleasing proportions. She is average in size, but with good bone density. This 1/2 Accoyo female out of our multiple Champion herd sire, Apocalypse, carries great genetics and the potential to produce that coveted purple maroon or burgundy color that is so rare in suris. Her dam, Cabernet, is always a favorite of the visitors on the farm - they pick her out from a distance because of her color and striking markings.

Butterscotch shears approximately 4.5 lb. of luscious fiber each year, not including her lower leg fiber. It is the type of fiber that is truly a pleasure to card and spin and produces a lovely "in demand" yarn. Butterscotch is a great production female who will provide years of beautiful fleece and crias, as well as just a beautiful suri to have on your farm.
