Breeders have said you sometimes have to dig deep and sell the animals you never thought you’d part with. For Emelise Alpacas that means parting with Kerlee. She’s been the centerpiece of our breeding program for many years which is why we reserved her for our breedings to Pperuvian Vengador and 4Peruvian Legacy. We are retaining one of her exquisite daughters for our breeding program. It is only because of this lovely lady that we can consider parting with Kerlee. She is ½ Accoyo thanks to her sire, Victor’s Vaccoyo. Her dam is currently a foundation female at Crescent Moon Ranch. She has an impressive show record of her own but even more importantly, her offspring have consistently placed highly in fleece and halter shows.
Although Kerlee has coarsened just slightly with age, her fleece has an amazing abscence of guard hair and a high uniformity of micron in a wonderful handling, soft crimpy fleece.
Kerlee has been bred and confirmed pregnant to our latest addition to our herdsire barn - Nevada. He is the 2009 World Fleece Show Fawn Color Champion, having received a perfect 20 point score for fleece weight. He boasts a very fine highly organized fleece. It is no doubt Jeremiah has passed many of his best attributes on to this son!
