This strong, proud true black macho is fulfilling the destiny of his strong pedigree with his own career as herdsire. He comes from one of the most established, well respected breeding programs of colored huacayas on the west coast. When looking for a black herdsire it was important to us he be able to produce black and gray offspring consistently. Midnight is out of two true black parents and also carries rose gray and silver gray genetics on his sire’s side. He has exceptionally soft fiber for an 8 year old black male with well defined low amplitude crimp and lovely handle. He carries himself very proudly and has perfect conformation. The depth of the black color in his fleece amazes us every year at shearing time.
