    Fox passed away suddenly at 18 1/2 years old. I checked him hands on the day before and he looked and acted normal and the next day I found him peacefully passed away.

    2024: Fox is going on 17 and acts like he's 10. If you want better softness and fineness EPDs and uniform, fine, pigmented gray fleeces with lots of crimps per inch and guard hair eliminated, he's the one!

    This line produces lingering 13 to 19 micron pigmented gray fleeces...consistently.

    Rose is one of our herd matriarchs and can frequently be found nibbling on a stick. She is considered nearly irreplaceable because of her quality, color, personality and presence. She and her progeny have produced numerous award winners. Every one of her cria have been high quality.

    Her grey 08 male cria, by Snowmass Artic Blue, is the image of his dam with advanced fiber characteristics.

    Rose and her girlfriends were not rebred in 08...owner's decision, no fault of theirs.

    When she is done breeding she will live out her remaining years at Skagit Valley Alpacas.

    This is how you want your breeding males: correct, typey, robust and with an ultra royal fourth fleece with no guard hair...and maroon doesn't hurt either.

    Remy is will be 5 yrs. old in 2016 and he still has one amazingly uniformly fine fleece with little to no medullation (like his sire) and with one of the heaviest blanket weights on the farm.

    Born with a little assistance at 11:11 a.m. on Sept. 11, 2011 (Nov. 11 is Armistice Day), weighing in at 23 pounds! Due to his robust size, his elbow got stuck on the dam's birth canal and I had to assist using a full length glove. First and hopefully last time I'll have to do that.

    He has P. Bueno (Alianza) and famous son Casanova and P. Guellermo (Huarapina) lines in his pedigree. Remy is unrelated to all Accoyo bloodlines. Outcross opportunity.

    Sire is the 2010 AOBA National Gray Male Composite Champion from Snowmass.

    Dam is a high quality, DSG own daughter of P. Guellermo (originally owned by Alpacas of America).
