As a 2.5 year old , we took Admiral down to OABA to show in a class of 12, "The finest fleece in the class" Tim Laven stated of Admiral. .

Admiral's sire SCA Peruvian Magnum was just recently purchased for $140,000. We believe Admiral is his best son to date.

Admiral is the only male member of The AlpacaRosa's Fab5 Dream Team. His lineage and amazing fleece qualitys need no explanation of why he has been placed on this elite team

Admiral has sired approximately 20 offspring and he is stamping out his brightness, fineness, and his beard. He is full Peruvian and 3/8 Accoyo . Accoyo Camilio, Peruvian Camelot, Accoyo Royal Fawn, and Peruvian Magnum are the male names that most of you recognize. STUNNING! JUGGERNAUT/ADMIRAL MIX!

WOW! Duchess is the 3rd cria out of the Juggernaut/Admiral mix of genetics!!

We bred Princess (Juggernaut cria) to Admiral, a 17X 1st, 2nd, 3rd and Reserve Championship winning herdsire, owned by Redwood Ranch Alpacas, hoping this pairing would again produce another potentially awesome cria. We got our wish, the result....DUCHESS!

This little lady has it all! With her charming disposition and gorgeous looks she is certain to capture the attention of everyone that visits our farm.

Full Peruvian and 1/4 Accoyo, Admiral's Peruvian Duchess looks like she is going to be a very nice female. Not only is her fleece dense but it is already displaying a consistent high-frequency crimp structure all over her blanket...up her neck...and down her legs which is usually not seen in a cria so young. It is a rich colored medium brown and is dazzling...super bright with a nice handle. Her conformation is good with an excellent bite, solid frame and good balance. Duchess definitely deserves to be shown in the fall!

Duchess comes from Champion lineage!! Her sire, Admiral, a Reserve Champion and Multi Ribbon winner, is a very elite male. Her grand sire is Juggernaut, an elite fleeced 7X Champion male, also owned by Redwood Ranch Alpacas. Juggernaut is a Champion producing Champions. Duchess' dam, Princess, is a 2X Champion and Multi Ribbon Winner.

We are very pleased with this little girl. After seeing the stunning results we feel the Admiral/Juggernaut combination of genetics is a mix definitely worth repeating. With her award winning genetics, fleece structure, and great conformation, Duchess can't help but do well in the show ring.

Duchess' Sire MFG Peruvian Admiral has been sold and is no longer in the US, as he now stands stud in England. Therefore, her genetics are no longer available in the US making her a rare find!

Second Place, OABA Alpacafest 2013, Halter-Full Fleece - Judge Ken Hibbit's comments: Good conformation, bright, fine and good density for her fineness, soft handle. Only difference between her and the 1st place alpaca was she had a little less crimp.

Financing Terms

Flexible financing available with many options to fit a buyers needs. We understand the toughness of our current economic times, so we are not charging interest on our financing. The terms of our financing are: Animals must stay boarded at our farm until 50% of the purchase price has been paid. Proof of mortality insurance must be provided in the amount financed. The registration of alpacas and crias will remain in our name until purchase price is paid in full. Any cria born at this time will be owned by Gates Alpaca Ranch until purchase price is paid in full. Our financing on consignment alpacas may be slightly different so email us with any inquiries you may have.
