HDF Hunter

Huacaya, Herdsire (Male), Proven, Medium Silver Grey
ARI# 30361300 | DOB: 8/10/2005
Walkin' the walk and talkin' the talk - Hunter has proven himself in the show ring and in fleece competitions and even has a Reserve Color Champion banner and multiple halter and fleece ribbons to prove it. Judge Wade Gease's award of the Reserve Color Championship to Hunter and his comments on how incredibly uniform and truly beautiful Hunter's fleece displayed is priceless. This stud is the bomb!

Hunter has got it all and has matured into quite a stunning silver stud. We're proud to offer ...

Conformation and fleece combined

Wildwood's Kaitlin

Huacaya, Female, Proven, Dark Brown, 1/2 Peruvian, 1/2 Chilean
ARI# 31733106 | DOB: 11/1/2009
The last of our 2009 fall crias, Kaitlin is the daughter of an amazingly soft Peruvian dark brown/bay black son of CPeruvian Jaxon and an award winning dark brown/maroon female out of the incomparable black Brittany's Desparado. Her sire, CPI Peruvian JaMaka passes on attributes of exceptional conformation and fine fiber persisting into adult years (at 9 years of age, his is still exceptionally soft and fine). With long straight legs, Kaitlin is dark brown with striking black tips and nose. Fir...

Description

Dixon is a handsome cross between silver grey HDF Hunter who brings wonderful consistency with a very low CVI to the pairing and Wildwood's Kaitlin who brings consistency and a very nice handle. The last born of six male crias, it took us awhile to appreciate just how wonderful he is. His fleece is dense, crimpy and has a very nice hand. Dixon started his show career in the fall of 2013 with a bang, with a blue ribbon in his first show! 3rd place at his next! He is easily handled, well tempered male, one of our favorites. He sired his first cria, an oops breeding, in Spring 2016, a maroon male out of a true black female. We're still trying to figure that one out...
