      IPRA Chancie Ann

Huacaya, Female, Proven | True Black

      AOA# 32731132   D.O.B. 7/13/2013

      Sire:
Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black
      | AOA# 838028  | True Black
MILE HIGH THE REVEREND MR. BLACK HAS A NEW HOME IN THE MIDWEST!!
Thank you Frank and Sharon Loner for allowing us the opportunity to bring Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black to our breeding program. We are very excited for the future and what he will bring. Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black is a Multiple Color Champion. The Reverend has produced award winning alpacas for Mile High Alpacas and their customers including multiple Champion, 2007 Futurity Grey Color Champion Mile High Deacon Grey. The Reverend's genetics have been limited east of Colorado and we are honored to be able to bring those genetics to the midwest. The Reverend has excellent conformation and a very proud stance. He commands your attention while standing in the pasture. He has beautiful true black fiber and at nine years of age is still holding nice crimp and fineness. He has produced offspring in every color. His offspring have done very well in the show circuit.

The Reverend is the son of Maple Brook Fandango and Rogue's J'ebon and he is a Peruvian Bueno grandson. These are some of the best known names in the industry.

If you are serious about improving the quality of your colored breeding program you should give great consideration to The Reverend. He is highly respected by serious breeders. He has the proven genetics to produce award winning cria.

To celebrate his acquisition and new home his service is being offered for a very limited number of breedings at $1500.

Take a look at the picture of his gorgeous daughter Black Walnut's Picture Perfect Sunday. She is owned by Jeri and David Hamilton at Black Walnut Alpacas. When I first got my hands on her my immediate reaction was "Oh Wow!" Her owners were so impressed with her (as they should be, she is GORGEOUS) that they rebred her dam back to Reverend.

Reverend cria are all rock solid. If you need to add bone and phenotype to your cria he is the male to do that. He passes very fine fleece on to his cria.

      Dam:
      Whistler's Coaletta Lynn
      | AOA# 31455381  | True Black
Coaletta looks beatiful standing or grazing in our pasture with her gorgeous head and excellent conformation. Her bone structure is excellent, with a very square frame atop good sized legs. She has very bright true black fleece with lots of shine to it. Coaletta's sire is Chance, a superb herdsire from Whistler's Glen known for throwing outstanding cria. This is a line that is rare in the US and is highly valued by breeders of black alpacas. Coaletta's incredible sire Chance is now deceased making her even more valuable. Coaletta's blood line is rich in color and she should be a wonderful producer of colored cria. Other notable alpacas in her lineage are PPPeruvian Inca, PPeruvian Emilio, NWA, Ltd Senator Taft, CPeruvian Timo, and CPeruvian Columbine.

Coaletta Lynn's first cria out of the Reverend Mr. Black produced a true coal black Coal Miner's Daughter on July 13, 2013. IPRA Chancie Ann has now joined our foundation herd and recently birthed her own cria, IPRA Jude Thaddeus.

      Service Sire:
      Snowmass Highland Amber
      | AOA# 31140072  | Dark Brown
This STUNNING Dark Roan Stud with a brilliantly bright fleece comes from a highly selective combination of both Elite White and Color Genetics. His sire, the LEGENDARY Snowmass MATRIX, has fiber with the highest curve of Quechua Genetics. His maternal side is PACKED with color. Snowmass Amber Waves, Highland Amber's Dam, is one of Snowmass' Champion Dark Rose Grey females with both solid and Rose genetic lineage.

Snowmass Highland Amber's has three stunning cria on the ground. The first is a beautiful true black female True Black Dam and the second a True Black Male from a True Black Dam. In summer 2016, Amber added a tuxedo grey boy (IPRA Graceful Highland Thistle) to his list of offspring. Amber stayed busy through the breeding season here at IPRA and we're expecting FOUR fantastic cria from him in 2017.

Contact us today if you want to add Highland Amber's ELITE WHITE and COLOR genetics to your herd.

      Description

IPRA Chancie Ann is the 2012 true black cria out of our own Whistler's Coaletta Lynn and Mile High The Reverend Mr. Black. She has a good solid square foundation frame like her dam and great crimp evident in both her sire and dam. Chancie's was one of those cria that came into the world running and hasn't stopped since. Her nickname was Dancie Chancie because she was always moving. Though she's mellowed a bit as she's aged, Chancie is still inquisitive and often sneaks up on visitors to find out just exactly what they're doing.

In her final show before retiring, Chancie took a blue ribbon! Chance was bred to Highland Amber and we were excited for the combination of these two genetic lines.
