2013 News Flash! We entered Vinnie's fleece in the Minnesota Alpaca Expo judged by Kristen Buhrman and he took home yet another Reserve Champion Banner at almost 4 years of age!


"Vinnie" is a medium fawn 7X champion co-owned with Don and Connie Payne of Oak Lawn Alpacas. This is some of the finest, softest fiber you will find. The high frequency crimp and density is amazing. On top of that, he is sired by Snowmass Millenium who is a 4Peruvian Legacy son and Millenium’s dam is a Hemingway daughter. Millenium passed away in September 2011. Vinnie’s dam is an Elite Maximus daughter and also has Hemingway in her pedigree. The best part is Vinnie’s dam is bay black so there is a very good possibility that he will cover black. What an amazing pedigree of Millenium, Legacy, Hemingway, Elite Maximus, Accoyo Elite and 5Peruvian Valeroso. 1/2 interest in Legacy sold for $750,000 making him the first million dollar alpaca.


He is extremely gentle and has a medium frame. At 3 years of age, Vinnie has outstanding fiber stats starting with a micron of 18.4 and Mean Curvature of 51.1.


His skin biopsy results are: 74.86 follicles sq mm, s/p 15.3:1, secondary fiber 16.9 microns, primary 21.6. This is an outstanding difference of only 4.7 microns. Only 20% medulated fibers. The average is over 52%.
Norm Evans places Vinnie in the top 1% of males that he has measured!

She produced a Beautiful beige male in 2014. We do not breed for brown and she just does not fit our color goals. We have not bred her due to space issues.


Her pedigree shows some big names like 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan and PPPeruvian Mr. President on the sire's side. Yet the dam's side is nothing but color with three generations of black!

Meet Ventura's Out of Bounds of HFAR or Boo as the the kids have nicknamed him. He is everything we had hoped for as we made this breeding selection,

The fiber on this male is incredible. The crimp and bundling exhibited immediately on this male has us very excited for his future. He was shorn at 3 weeks of age and his re-growth is better than we could have hope. The crimp and organization is out of this world! With a multi champion sire and champion dam, we cannot wait until the spring show season.

Update: 3/24/2014 - We just returned home from our first show this spring. We showed Out of Bounds in an extremely competitive class of white juvi males. There were nine in the class with the First and Second place males from nationals included. We were very pleased to take a sixth in a very tough class! Looking forward to watching this young male mature!
