Silver Charm is a superb stud in every respect - fleece, conformation, presence, personality and breeding background. He is a proven producer and has several award-winning offspring on the ground including grey, black and beige Color Champions!

In the AOBA National Fleece Show this year a Silver Charm son (VF Prince Charming) was awarded Light Color Champion!

At 8 years of age, Silver Charm's fleece is still exceptional (AFD 26.4, SD 5.2, CV 19.7, 15.8%,30) and he exhibits unusual density and character for a grey.

At the 2005 GWAS Jude Anderson invited to crowd to come and feel the fabulous hand of a grey alpaca standing in the ring. It was a Silver Charm daughter!

CPA's SEQUOIA
Sequoia is a typey, deep maroon with black points, female out of a silver grey sire and grand-sire. She has very consistent, soft fiber with high frequency crimp. Check out Sequoia's 2010 fiber stats (@ 7 years of age). Sequoia is also an excellent breeder, birther and mother.

Sequoia's sire Neversummers Merlin, and grandsire NWA LTD Ike, are both quality grey herdsires.

Description

NeverSummer's Barefoot Contessa, is a striking Grey Color Champion! Her great attributes are not surprising considering her lineage includes heavy-weights Lanark's Silver Charm and The Silversmith! Contessa has Top 5% EPDs in 2024!

Contessa's sire, Lanark's Silver Charm needs no introduction to breeders who have an interest in producing quality grey fleeced alpacas. This outstanding silver grey herdsire and Multi-Champion is most noted for his dense, soft fleece with lingering fineness. Silver Charm's trademark has become the wonderful consistency that he passes on to his offspring.

Her Great Grandsire - The Silversmith had an influence on the grey alpaca in America that is still strongly felt today. A strikingly handsome alpaca in his day, The Silversmith was considered to be one of the very best greys in the country.

On 8/8/10, Barefoot Contessa gave birth to a beautiful medium rose-grey female sired by Aussie .38 Special.

On 8/16/11, Barefoot Contessa had a lovely medium silver-grey female also sired by Aussie .38 Special.
