Miguel's crias are packed with fabulous fleece - up the necks, around the bellies and down the legs.
This young male is an exceptional example of the stunning fleece type that is produced by his sire, EastWind's Andino. Jill McLeod described his fleece as "the most spectacular fleece in the class", from a very large class of light fawn juvenile males. Amazing staple length, lustrous golden fineness, and distinctive crimpy locks set his fleece apart from the others. Description

NEVERSUMMER'S LUMINOSA
We feel that Luminosa is one of the best alpacas we've ever produced. Her fleece is an absolute WOW - fine, luminous, organized and dense with a phenomenal staple length. It goes around her belly, up her neck and down her legs - all so reminiscent of her sire Miguel as a juvie.

Luminosa placed 1st in an extremely competitive class of 14 at the 2009 Futurity. She was also awarded a 1st Place and Reserve Color Champion at the '09 GWAS where the judge commented that her brightness "hits you in the face" when you open her up. This is easily seen in her juvie fleece photo here. Lumie's second fleece is simply luscious.

Luminosa's sire is 2x champion, EastWind Andino's Miguel. This young male is an exceptional example of the stunning fleece type that is produced by his sire, EastWind's Andino. Jill McLeod described Miguel's fleece as "the most spectacular fleece in the class", from a very large class of light fawn juvenile males. Of course Luminosa got a lot from her award winning dam, Beausoleil as well. Beausoleil is a beautiful, LF Presidio daughter out of Peruvian Tiquina.


Offspring:
On 6/29/2013, Luminosa gave us a lovely bay black female out of 2013 AOBA National Black Male Fleece Color Champion, BMF Taos' Zeppelin.

On 10/28/2014, Luminosa presented us with a handsome fawn male cria, sired by 6x Champion Snowmass Majesty in Moonlight, whose genetics carry the finest white with a well balanced option for Elite Color!
