What a beautiful fawn! Her fleece just shimmers in the sun, with very uniform and independent locks waving as she walks. Sunkist has a nice personality and walks well on a lead, ready for the show ring or the breeding barn. Sunkist is the product of 2 multiple champions on our farm, Victory and Safina. Both have retained their fineness and high luster as they have gotten older. Victory, her sire, tested with a 23 micron AFD fleece at the age of 8! Victory is covered to the toes with uniform defined locks, and retains his full face and leg fiber at over 11 years of age. Victory has won 3 Championships at Level 5 shows, his most recent was Fleece Fawn Color Champion at the 2011 MAPACA Jubilee at the age of 8! He still maintains his fine micron, luster, and locking even today. Victory is tall with long legs, and Safina is short and compact. Sunkist is a great blending of the two for their best characteristics of balanced conformation and fine micron, uniform lustrous fleeces.

Sunkist's dam, Safina is an outstanding full Peruvian, 3/8 Accoyo, colored offspring by the award winning herdsire Fox Run’s Peruvian Nomar, a Macgyver son and a black Angel dam. Safina is Nomar’s best cria to date. She is a gorgeous light brown female with unbelievable density, luster, coverage and conformation. She has that amazing “soft rolling skin” that breeders love to see, and still is a standout for her unbelievable luster at the age of 5. Safina made her show ring debut at the 2010 MAPACA Jubilee and was awarded Reserve Color Champion! She has since won Color Champion at the Carolina Show in 2011, and Brown Color Champion at the MAPACA Jubilee Fleece Show, as well as Reserve Color Champion in halter at the 2011 MAPACA Jubilee in her regrowth fleece.
