BuzznHum Chakotah's Made You Look

Suri, Female, Proven | White, Light Brown

Sire:
Chakotah of CCR Suris
| AOA# 30633209  | Dark Fawn
2013 DARK FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR
2011 RESERVE FUTURITY HERDSIRE OF THE YEAR
2013 FUTURITY DARK GET CLASS WINNER
TOP RANKING MSL AND FW EPD'S

Futurity Judges Choice video.

Chakotah in 2011 had a son win four Judges Choice awards, (Pucara) Chakotah's Wyuna, and a daughter, Buzz n Hum Layla who won GWAS 2011 Judges Choice. Chakotah ALSO won the Nationals and GWAS Get classes with our Pucara Kahuna, his grandfather, in second both times. His cria won championships and ribbons in many shows all over the country.

When we first started our alpaca farm here in the US the first sale we made of our own suris was to Ann and Bill Rogers at CCR Alpacas.

We asked Ann and Bill if they would let us know when one of those girl's, Kalina, had her cria and we would consider purchasing it. As it turned out they decided to send Kalina along with several of our own females to be bred to Moon River's Durango, at our sincere urging!!! Jude and I adored Durango. He was a stand out in the show ring winning a championship in all his shows but more importantly to us he had exquisite genetics. Those breedings produced two national Champions for us and several ribbon winners.

When Kalina gave birth Ann excitedly called us and raved about the cria. Well we know owners get a bit barn blind about their animals so we asked for pics....man oh man, he looked fabulous. We visited CCR Alpacas soon thereafter and purchased a half share of this boy, Chakotah....at two months of age!!! It's insane, the first time we have been so bold but in the flesh he even looked better than the pics.

The Kahuna daughter, Kalina, had produced a knockout cria.

Chakotah's performance in the show ring has been exemplary. He exhibits extreme greasy luster, super silky handle, density in thick well defined locks from one end of his sturdy frame to the other and fineness. All with a proud masculine head on a well balanced body. As a mature male his frame is magnificent. Everything a stud male suri should be approaching 10 years of age - head style, frame, chest capacity, and above all great libido and fertility.

Was this to be expected from the intial breeding. We hoped so because it was the marriage of genetics from Peruvian Bruxo, Peruvian Uribe, Peruvian Augustina (McGyver's mom), Pperuvian Amador and Peruvian Cadete (Accoyo foundation herdsires of our female herd), Pucara Kahuna and Pucara Allegro who had 37 championship winning cria in Australia of which 17 won Best in Show! The odds were stacked in our favor and are now stacked in yours because there is little room for deviation of outcome with this punch of prepotence. If you have a good female you'll get a great cria with this breeding.

Chakotah kids have been wowing them all over the country. They have won championships and Judges Choice Awards in strong company !!! We think he is turning out to be every bit as good if not better than his grandfather Kahuna! The show kids have won championships in both color a

Buzznhum Kahuna's Rhapsody In White
| AOA# 31327060  | White  |
Rhapsody was one of the first crias we had here on the farm.
We knew she was beautiful, but being that we were still newbies in the alpaca show world, wasn’t sure if we would show her.
Well, we learned very quickly that this Kahuna daughter did indeed have all the right stuff, as she took top spots in the shows we entered her in. The icing on the cake, was that she not only placed 1st (as a Juvie) at the Nationals, she also walked away with 2009 Reserve Champion! Not too shabby for our first year!

For Rhapsody’s first breeding, we were fortunate enough to secure a rare breeding to 6Peruvian Chachapoya.
That pairing produced Inagoddadavida, who is simply exquisite!
For Rhapsody’s second breeding we chose Chakotah and the results were again, simply divine as she gave us another beautiful girl, Rapture.
We were so taken with Rapture that we have chosen to repeat the breeding, and in late July she gave us another beautiful girl!
We've chosen to breed Rhapsody to Pucara PureSuri Madiba and feel this calculated breeding crossing Bruxo & Inca with Kahuna, Ganador & Cadete bloodlines will produce a stellar cria. We haven't been wrong so far with the breedings we've chosen for this girl and anxiously await it's arrival in 2014.

Rhapsody has proven herself to be a true Stud Female with proven genetics to produce show winning offspring whose fleeces of incredible locking, density & blinding luster will carry the US Alpaca Industry forward for many years to come.

Description

Chakotah's Made You Look is beautiful!
Gorgeous head, great confirmation, beautiful fleece with coverage down to her toes and when you open up her fleece, luster that makes you go WOW!
What else would you expect when you've got 2 inputs of Pucara Kahuna who happens to have once again won the 2014 Futurity Light Herdsire of the year!

Made You Look's dam Kahuna's Rhapsody in White ('09 Nationals Reserve Champ) is our top Stud Female, giving us 3 females all with incredible luster and locking only this time she's given us color in her latest pairing with Chakotah (Futurity 2014 Dark Reserve Herdsire of the year).

Made You Look had an impressive show career, taking a 1st at Alpacapalooza and a 1st & Color Champion at Futurity as a juvie and Reserve Champion as a yearling at Futurity. We expected nothing less considering what her big sisters and Dam have done in the show ring!

We bred Bugnut (as we affectionately call her) to Bojack’s Black Midnight as we wanted to infuse some Goldstar genetics in our herd and our hunch paid off...That union gave us a beautiful little girl, with perfect head, conformation and fleece! We’re thrilled with her and can’t wait to see what her final colors land up becoming. She's currently brown, black and grey on her legs/backside but by 2021, who knows what she'll look like!
While we don’t want to part with Bugnut, especially now that we know what she’s capable of producing, we will to the right home!

2020 Biopsy Results-
Density measures 35.5 follicles SQ MM.
25 typical fiber clusters figure an average S/P ratio of 8.2 to 1. Level 4 of 4 gland presence. Secondary fibers average 23.1 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 36.2 microns for a spread of 13.1 microns. The above stats figure an AFD of 24.69 microns.

We're keeping Bugnut open this year, so buy her and breed her to your colored/gray herdsire now for what will definitely be a stunning cria in 2021! **TRANSPORT INCLUDED!**
