Bet on Black, or Bob as he is known, is all THAT!! A son of Prince Greystone (Condor son) and DDF Sophia (1 of only 3 offspring of Pperuvian Augustina), Bob is one of a kind. A true black exhibiting excellent suri fleece characteristics, he is one herdsire who could make you breeding program.

Bob has a very soft fleece, with excellent luster, good density and nice handle. Excellent conformation, straight topline and good bite complete this full Peruvian herdsire's package!

Our first daughter from Bob, Black's Gold, was awarded Judge's Choice at Futurity in 2011 and has 6 Color Champions and 8 1st Place ribbons to her credit. SHE was the inspiration for us to purchase Bet On Black back from the farm we sold him to. He was being under-used and we plan on changing that and sharing his genetics and production capabilities with other breeders. Bob resides at Wings & A Prayer, again!

Included in breeding to Bet on Black, in addition to a live cria guarantee, is a SURI cria guarantee. This is a guarantee that we have offered since we first started breeding suris and have NEVER had to honor. None of our suri herdsires have ever produced a huacaya nor have any of our suri females produced a huacaya. When you're breeding for suris, isn't that what you want??

Description

ShowTime has proven herself in the Showring many times.

Showtime has been an impressive female for us here at Rogue Suri Alpacas! Her first offspring RGSA Coppola earned Futurity greatness as a Reserve Champion black as a yearling who is now working/breeding for his new owner Socal Suris in Northern California! We look forward to seeing what he produces!

Showtime's second cria was nothing short of sensational. A futurity Champ as a juvi, RGSA Goddess, was exactly that, a goddess! Black as black could be, Showtime shows us again she can do it no matter who she is bred to!

Showtime's 3rd cria, again did not disappoint! Another female this time by Chakotah of CCR Suris!
A last minute breeding, we thought we could squeeze in before Chakotah left our place last year has resulted in a gorgeous light girl who has all her mom and dads traits! We look forward to seeing her show in 2019.

Biopsy by Dr. Norm Evans,
"Rogue Suri Alpacas WAP Show Time by Bet on Black" was biopsied as a 3 year old light fawn suri female with ARI#32737851. The normal section of her 15X scan shows large fiber clusters mostly uniform in shape and placement. Her density is 72.75 follicles SQ MM of skin and her average S/P ration based on 25 normal fiber clusters is 11.5 to 1. She shows level 3 of 4 gland presence and less than 20% of her secondary fibers show medullation which is very unique. 100 secondary fibers averaged 18.4 microns while 50 primary fibers averaged 23.2 microns for a variation of only 4.8 microns. Based on fleece states Show Time is a female for the future of the suri industry.
