Emelise Alpacas proudly presents Emelise’s Basmati for your consideration. Basmati is a stunning white female. She has a SUPER SOFT fleece that exhibits the rarely seen combination of ultra-fineness and remarkable density! Add tight high frequency crimp and glowing brightness and you have one knockout fleece. An independent evaluation by an AOA certified judge gave Basmati scores of 18 out of 20 for micron and 19 out of 20 for density.
She has a lovely phenotype and pedigree of distinction. Her dam is CCNF Guanahani, daughter of the great Snowmass Messiah. Her sire is Rensselaer, who’s fleece until his death at age 19 hovered at or under 20 microns. Roll all that into a girl with such a sweet, unassuming personality and there is nothing more you could want.
Basmati is proven but is currently open. We strongly suggest breeding her to either Mint Mo Money, Futurity Judges' Choice winner, or LMFI & TNT Peruvian Neveda, our world champion Jeremiah son. Stamping the traits from either of these boys onto this fleece will be awe-inspiring, bringing even more fineness, even more brightness and even tighter crimp - three things of which we can never get enough!
