Alera was purchased at auction from the stellar program at Alpacas de la Patagonia. She is a lovely jet true black daughter of Neruda as well as carrying the powerhouse genetics of Shackleton, Drake and Danko. We have had several lovely cria from Alera including Valletta and Twyla who are also on our sales list. She hits the trifecta of what you are looking for in a production female...easy breeder, great mom, powerful consistent producer of ribbon winning cria. She is a gentle soul and you hardly ever know she's here.
Alera is not currently bred, but the choices are many. She has been bred to Cameron, Nevada and Spittin' Image in the past with great success. You could go back to one of those tried and true but I think Aston Martin or Hullabaloo would be great choices too. In fact, because the there are so many fabulous options, we are including TWO breedings for Alera. Use one now and save one for later!
