Etched Glass is a super fine son of Accoyo Titan that we co-own with Magical Farms. His fleece is just about translucent and has the handle of a yearling even at the age of 5. We only have a few of his cria on the ground, but from the looks of them, we will be using this boy ALOT more. When they agreed to put MFI Peruvian Etched Ice in the 2008 Breeder's Choice Auction, they decided to keep his younger brother MFI Peruvian Etched Glass!
Like his full brother, MFI Peruvian Etched Ice who sold in the 2008 Breeder's Choice Auction to Marego Farms, Etched Glass sports a dense, fine fleece with high-amplitude, high-frequency crimp and amazing brightness. To make it to Magical's and Kendall Creek's Herdsire Row, a male has to be the total package... from phenotype to fleece, and Etched Glass is just such a male!
He is a blending of the lines of 6Peruvian Accoyo Titan who sold in the 2007 Breeder's Choice Auction for $250,000 to The Alpaca Group LLC, and Accoyo Elite who is owned by Crescent Moon Ranch.
