      He is truly an outstanding suri male! He also has grey genetics. His dam is a lovely silver grey,Silver Orchid. After his terrific fleece was shorn it was easier to see his great conformation! All of his cria have many things in common: great conformation, excellent fiber and LUSTER,LUSTER,LUSTER! What is not the same is their color. So far he has produced white, beige, light, med.and dark fawn, brown light, med.and dark, rose gray and a solid silver gray. How about that for a choice! Moonshadow has had 36 cria so far(all suri).
      He shows wisdom knowing the status of the females he is breeding and is quite a gentleman with his breeding.

      Cria? All high end,all suri. Out of those 36 there had been many ribbon winners including blue,reserve and championships. I believe that tells the story on Moonshadow's quality for offspring!

      Description

      News Flash! Pixie delivered another appy girl from Fusion on June 29th. She is that beautiful fawn base color with dark fawn spots and she will characteristically turn grey over the next year. She is healthy, born at 18.0 lbs, and very friendly.

      This girl's pedigree is loaded with well known names including SEATTLE MIST and CONDOR. Her dam is a dark silver grey female named WOLFPACA BLUSHING SHADOW by Seattle Mist, and her sire is USA MOONSHADOW. Moonshadow's dam, 4P SILVER ORCHID, is one of the 1st full Peruvian grey imports and she has produced numerous grey offspring. Pixie has SUPER bloodlines to produce both silver grey and rose grey offspring.

      Her fiber and coverage is excellent. Regrowth after multiple shearings still shows exceptional luster and locking. We are pleased to note that her fleece is also maintaining its fineness. Her 2017 histogram was impressive for a female of her age: 23.65 AFD, 5.12 SD, and 21.63 CV. Conformation is flawless and she has a beautiful head with perfect bite.

      Pixie was shown at large shows and competed very well. Pixie's daughter, WRSR Karina by Razor, won Reserve Color Champion at the 2015 Carolina Alpaca Show as a yearling and in her previously shorn fleece. She exemplifies fineness, density, and beautiful luster. Karina's sire is WRSR Accoyo Razor, and noted light fawn with retained fineness and density at the age of 14. Pixie will be a great foundation dam for many years to come, and has the background genetics to produce grey offspring.

      In June 2016, she delivered another female cria, WRSR Vanity Fair by Fusion, this time a gorgeous appaloosa by our herdsire, Fusion!
